Progression with physical damage scaling is a little too easy to execute, with many classes having innate 10x damage multipliers, crafted weapons spawning with high flat values and casters needing less gear optimization

The physical resist of all bosses has been increased by 5 points.

Fire Nova: removed knockback, lowered damage.

Reduced block chance in Hell difficulty.

Rebalanced health and damage on all difficulties.

Bloodskin Darkbow: now uses Cascade and Trinity Arrow instead of Barrage and Bloodstorm.

The game has plenty to do, you can see how many players still play diablo 2 and try thousands of different combinations, you have tons of things to do without the median, when you include the median xl ult itself, you will have 2x as much new stuff to try, so yeah. IMO Make sure to get the expansion, in case you don't know, here's what you are missing out if you don't (I copied some important points from the wiki) TL DR : Try vanilla first then median xl ult(at least that's what I tried) So yeah, at least median xl ult brought some variation with mobs & stuff which was great, if you don't mind going thru same areas, but different paths every time and searching for them is taking the enjoyment out of the game itself, exactly why I keep coming back to diablo 2 once-twice at the very most per year to try different stuff, it's way to repetitive.

I played the vanilla(with LOD obviously) completed it with summoner necro twice(once full summ, the second time with shit from different skill trees, experimenting), then I tried it on median xl ult third time and it was almost like completely different experience.ДЇor me the biggest turn off is the repetitiveness with searching areas all over, I don't mind trying all the classes in all the ways possible, it's just that searching the areas every time is pain in the ass, especially the maggot lair if you are a summoner necro, please, don't try it.
